We’re thrilled to announce that — thanks to your donations — enough funds have now been transferred to fully support the "Doors and Windows" Local Skills project just as planned by our partner on the ground, Jonathan Mativo.

This means everything needed — from materials and tools to protective gear — is now in place to run the project exactly as it was envisioned. The training is officially moving forward!

Meet Riziki

In the latest video update, Jonathan interviews Riziki, one of the girls participating in the aluminum fabrication course. Her story is one of many that highlight how hands-on skills training can open doors — both literally and for her future.

Double the Skill, Double the Opportunity

You may even spot familiar faces in the footage! Some of the girls from our first Local Skills project, "Girls Painting", are also taking part in this new training. These young women are now gaining experience in two income-generating trades — an incredible foundation for independence and sustainability.

Riziki's Inspirational story.

Thank you for believing in their potential

Your support doesn’t just fund tools and materials — it fuels confidence, ambition, and future opportunities.

Want to keep this momentum going? Support the next wave of trainees here.

Together, we’re helping girls in Kenya become skilled, safe, and self-reliant — one lesson at a time.
